Working principle of waterproof pillow block bearings

The bearing with seat is composed of two parts: an outer spherical bearing and an outer spherical bearing seat. Its working principle is basically the same as that of other deep groove ball bearings, but the outer ring of this bearing is in spherical contact with the bearing seat, forming a free moving state, so that the bearing can realize the self-aligning function, and the outer surface of the bearing (oil-filled).
The ring is equipped with a stop pin. When the bearing is installed in the bearing seat, the stop pin is stuck at the gap of the inlet and outlet grooves of the bearing seat, which can not only make the outer ring of the bearing not rotate in the bearing seat in the working state, but also realize the self-aligning effect of the bearing. , as shown in Figure 1, the normal centering range should be kept at soil 2°, no re-lubrication is required.
When slipping, the centering range can generally be increased to soil 3° ~ soil 8°. The inner ring of the bearing is fixed with the shaft by the fastening device and rotates with the shaft. Since the inner ring and the outer ring of the bearing with a seat can maintain a stable relative position, it can adopt a double seal (labyrinth structure) to obtain a high degree of stability, good sealing effect.
